It is in Karin's honor that I set up this blog site for us, the Mary Institute class of 1991, as a way of easily communicating whenever any of us are so inclined to do so. Though we are greatly saddened and distraught by her untimely death, Karin has left us the wonderful gift of bringing us together in the spirit and memory of her name. I invite everyone to please post a message on our blog when you have news to share (the good AND the bad times), announcements, pictures, or simply want to stay in touch. By subscribing to our blog (a link is found on the right-hand column of this main page), you can see if there are new postings on your homepage (via google, yahoo, etc.). As soon as I can, I will enter the names and e-mail addresses of those classmates that we have thus far so everyone can be an "author", which will allow our group to post whenever they would like to communicate with the class. This is an excellent way to stay in touch, even as email and home addresses change, for the blog website address will always stay the same (and can thus be easily "bookmarked" via your internet browser). Please feel free to leave a comment if there is anything you think should be added to our blog.
Again, in Karin's honor (and as a testament to what she held very dear to who she was) we begin our blogging journey...

ReplyDeleteI have been thinking a lot about Karin lately...her pink Laura Ashley dresses, when she tutored me in geometry (thank God I had smart friends!), Her constant picture taking...I really miss her even thought we hadn't been close for many years. She did give me back some of my roots, and I am so appreciative to her for that.
